At Vino on Wheels, we bring a splash of Italian flair and an unforgettable experience right to your event, all from our beautifully restored vintage Piaggio Ape truck (that’s pronounced ah-pay). This charming mobile bar is equipped with four taps, ready to pour your favorite wines, craft beers, cocktails, N/A drinks, kombucha, and more. Yes, we’re big fans of wine!
Our Piaggio Ape truck makes every occasion special—whether it’s a wedding, a corporate client event, a bridal shower, or a summer party. Its compact design fits perfectly into any indoor or outdoor venue, allowing for a seamless integration into your celebration.
We offer complete service support, including the truck, professional servers, and top-quality disposable glassware. While New Jersey liquor laws prevent us from supplying alcohol, you provide the beverages and we handle all the setup and logistics, ensuring a hassle-free experience for you and your guests.
1. Tell us about your event
Kick off the celebration by filling out our contact form! Share the key details— event date, guest count, preferred drinks, and location—plus anything else that will help us make your event unforgettable. We’ll respond within 48 hours to confirm availability and provide a custom quote tailored just for you.
2. Let’s chat!
We’ll set up a Zoom or phone call to get to know one another and what you’re looking for. We will also go over drink options. While wine is our specialty, we also love pouring prosecco, beer, batch cocktails, mocktails, and even kombucha if that’s your style! You provide the alcohol and we do the rest. Not sure how much to buy? No problem! We’ll guide you with expert recommendations and suggest our favorite local wine and liquor shops. Plus, our mixologists are ready to craft custom cocktails (espresso martini, anyone?). To secure your date, a 50% deposit is required.
3. Time to celebrate!
The day is here and the tough part's done! All you need to do is enjoy your event while we handle everything else. We'll arrive up to an hour early to set up, stay late to break down, keep the glassware stocked, prevent long drink queues, and make your event memorable.

If it can be served in a keg, we can tap it! We pride ourselves on giving you the power to choose what beverages you want on tap! Although we’re wine enthusiasts, we know that everyone’s tastes are different. That’s why our truck can accommodate a wide variety of options, including beer, creative cocktails, and even non-alcoholic beverages like refreshing kombucha or lemonade for the kids. So whether you’re a wine lover or prefer something else, we’ve got you covered.
We’re a service company only and cannot provide alcohol due to liquor laws in the state. However, don’t worry! We will help you select the right beverages and provide you with a shopping list and local stores to make your event a success. The great thing is that this will save you money!
We provide a variety of services to make your event a hit! This includes everything from providing the truck and glassware, to providing tap-tenders. We take care of all the setup and logistics so you can sit back and enjoy your event.
Yes! We have General Liability and Liquor Liability. We can provide an event permit upon request
Yes, we do need access to electricity to power our tap system and other equipment. We typically require a standard 110V outlet within 50 feet of where the truck will be parked. If your event location does not have access to electricity, please let us know and we can work with you to explore alternative solutions such as a generator.
Yes! The truck is 5ft x 10ft, so we can fit inside most any indoor spaces with double doors or an opening big enough for those dimensions.
We proudly serve New Jersey, extending up to 60 miles outside Caldwell, NJ (Zip Code: 07006). The first 20 miles are included; distances beyond incur a $2.50 per mile travel fee. For events in New York, we obtain a one-day insurance license for a small additional cost.
It all depends on the number of people at your event, types of beverages, hours and how much your guests drink. We will work with you on the tap list and send suggested quantities. To give you a general estimate, you’re probably looking at $8 to $15 per person for the liquor. However, tell us what your budget is and we can work within it!
We understand that people may not always know what to expect from a service like ours, and that’s okay! We pride ourselves on offering a luxury experience , ensuring meticulous attention to detail every step of the way – from transporting the truck in a large trailer to the finer touches at the event, including premium garnishes and glassware. Our package also includes a dedicated bartender and is competitively prices compared to similar services in the area.
Absolutely! One of our favorite parts is helping come up with a vision for the decor. We have additional add-ons such as balloons or flowers. However, you can provide anything else for the decor.
Our story begins as a working parent duo who wanted to create something special that combines our love for making people happy, entertainment, and of course, wine. We wanted to do something that truly brought joy to others.
The idea for Vino on Wheels was marinating for a long time. What sparked us to pull the trigger was after a very difficult time for Kayla. In December 2022, her Dad passed away unexpectedly, and it really hit home that life is too short not to pursue your dreams. His favorite quote was “F-E-A-R has two meanings: ‘Forget Everything And Run’ or ‘Face Everything And Rise. ‘ The choice is yours.” It was then that we decided to take a leap of faith and launch Vino on Wheels.
Our passion for wine and entertaining is what drives us. We wanted to create an experience that people would remember for years to come – something that brings a bit of magic to any event.
We’ve poured our hearts and souls into Vino on Wheels, and we’re thrilled to be able to share it with you. Whether it’s a wedding, corporate event, or just a fun gathering with friends, we’re here to help make it unforgettable.
